Daughter of West Midlands Police officer killed on duty says police memorial is "right"

The daughter of a West Midlands police officer - who was killed by a motorist - is backing plans for a new police memorial for those who die on duty.

Charlotte's dad PC Malcolm Walker was hit by a man who stole a car and rammed it into his motorbike which threw him to his death in 2001.

The Federation are raising money to build the site at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
