In their first training exercise since becoming a specialist infantry battalion or SPIB, 1 SCOTS are deploying to Kenya on Exercise ASKARI SPEAR, where they will partner the Kenyan Defence Force. Cherry Casey spoke to their Commanding Officer, Lt Col Nick Whyte-Boycott as they prepared for departure.
