The National Constitution Amendment Committee has begun consultations on the security laws, in accordance with the Agreement to resolve the conflict in South Sudan.

As part of the consultation process, the 8-member team led by Kenyan Lawyer, Gichira Kibara met with the security minister, mid this week.

Speaking on Miraya Breakfast show, Kibara, acknowledged the time lost, but said progress is being made. He said his team held several discussions with Ministers from various security sectors to discuss the laws that govern security in South Sudan.
