Cabinet has resolved to send a second investigation team to probe the circumstances that led to the death of 15 children in a measles vaccination campaign in Kaouto County, Kapoeta State last week.

Preliminary investigations established ‘human error’ caused the fatalities with two of the vaccinators being under age, the vaccines poorly stored and one syringe used on all the victims.

Information Minister Michael Makuei says the government will take a decision after the findings of the second investigation team.
