The Thursday Movie Review - 8th June 2017

Jun 08, 2017, 08:30 PM

Joff Hopkins and film critic Mark Searby take a look at the new movies out this weekend.

First up, MY COUSIN RACHEL stars (appropriately) Rachel Weisz and Ipswich & Norwich's Sam Claflin in this Gothic period drama.

Meanwhile, THE SHACK stars Sam Worthington as a father dealing with his missing daughter, when a chance to meet God in 'the shack' comes up. It's the biggest Christian-funded movie - how does it fare?

On DVD: Prevenge is new this week, and is written, directed by and stars an actually-pregnant Alice Lowe... and there's a word or two about T2 Trainspotting.

Mark Searby's book 'Al Pacino: The Movies Behind The Man' is available to order on Kindle now: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Al-Pacino-Movies-Behind-Man-ebook/dp/B0724Z3M1M
