South Sudanese lawyers encouraged to compete for the Innovative for Justice Challenge

The executive director Screen of Rights, Reech Malual, is encouraging South Sudanese working in the areas of rule of law to participate in the 2017, Innovative for justice challenge.

Participants in this challenge stand a chance to win up to 20,000 EUROS in equity-free grant money.

The challenge, part of the Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL) Justice Accelerator based in the Netherlands, aims at facilitating innovation, especially in ‘justice solutions.’

Innovations encouraged include; employment justice, family justice, neighbor disputes, land disputes, crime and law enforcement, and migration/human trafficking.

Reech Malual spoke with Samuel Pawon, and began by explaining the significance of this challenge to South Sudan.
