The first Reith Lectures, Bertrand Russell - 1948

The Reith Lectures began in 1948, offering a chance for a leading figure to speak on significant issues of contemporary interest. They bear the name, of course, of John Reith, the BBC's first Director General. 

The first lecture was given by Bertrand Russell on 'Authority and the Individual'.
