An ex Nottinghamshire firefighter has told Capital he's not sure cities outside London would cope with a Grenfell Tower-style disaster.

Dave Green, who's now with the Fire Brigades Union, says government funding cuts makes it tough.

A week on from the Grenfell Tower fire, the authorities in west London are promising to do more to help those affected.

At least 79 people have died and many more have been left homeless.
