'Weight stigma'! New research suggests 'overweight or obese people are subjected to prejudice and negative stereotyping - that can be described as 'weightism'. The findings say that individuals are stigmatised due to their shape or weight in school, in healthcare, in work, online or just walking around their neighbourhood - and suggests that this can have devastating effects on them.
