Henry Blofeld on his support for the Macular Society

Beloved by BBC Radio 4 cricket fans, Henry Blofeld has age-related macular degeneration in his right eye. It's currently incurable. Henry makes the #R4Appeal for the Macular Society, who provide befriending services to those whose sight loss has caused loneliness and despair, and who fund research. One of their stem cell projects has now started human trials.
