A delegation from the national dialogue steering committee that traveled to South Africa to meet with Riak Machar has returned to Juba without meeting with the opposition leader.

The team led by co-chairman Angelo Beda, had gone to consult with Machar on the National dialogue process.

Alfred Taban, spokesperson of the national dialogue steering committee says the opposition leader responded in writing, demanding for implementation of the peace agreement first, before he can fully participate in the dialogue.

Another team is in Addis Ababa Ethiopia and will proceed to Khartoum to meet with Lam Akol and other opposition leaders.
