Kent's cricketers dominated with the bat as they ended day one of their County Championship match against Northamptonshire on 434-1 .
Sean Dickson hit a career-best of 210 not out while Joe Denly ended the day on 143 as the two shared a 305-run partnership against their opponents at Beckenham.
At the end of the day's play, an emotional Dickson spoke to Sports Editor Matt Cole about his knock.
