#Folk Learned from the singing of Dick Gaughan and written by Jock Purdon, this song tells of the closure of the Harraton coal mine, nicknamed 'Cotia, and refers to Lord Robens, who bribed many of the miners by telling them that if they all upped sticks and moved to Nottingham, they would have new jobs and brighter futures.
