"On August 5, 2015, the University Higher Council of the National University of the South decided to remove Néstor Luis Montezanti from his teaching position. Montezanti is accused of crimes against humanity committed during the last Argentine civic-ecclesiastical-military dictatorship. The audio is a contribution of the local subsidiary of H.I.J.OS. (acronym for Hijos e Hijas por la Identidad y la Justicia contra el Olvido y el Silencio) to the Sound Map of Bahía Blanca, a collaborative project carried out by Sonoteca Bahía Blanca. H.I.J.O.S. is an Argentinean human rights organization, whose objectives are the fight against impunity, the credible reconstruction of history, the restitution of the identity of the siblings and relatives kidnapped and appropriated, as well as the vindication of the struggle of their parents and their companions, and the life imprisonment of all those responsible actors for crimes against humanity during the last Argentine civic-ecclesiastical-military dictatorship, their accomplices, instigators and beneficiaries."
