JICA Regional workshop on Gender Mainstreaming opens in Kampala

More than 40 people from South Sudan, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda convene in Kampala today for a regional workshop on economic empowerment of women and socially vulnerable people in East Africa.
The workshop is organized by the Japan International Cooperation agency – JICA.
On the line from Kampala, Irene Lasu called up UCHIKAWA Tomomi Senior Representative, JICA South Sudan Office, to bring us up to speed about this regional conference.
