Gurkhas raise funds for a fallen comrade

Sadly, Rifleman Vijay Rai did not return from Operation Herrick 14. He was killed when the checkpoint that he and his team were protecting in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand province came under insurgent small arms fire. On Saturday, the 14th of this month, some of his colleagues in Brunei with the 2nd Battalion, Royal Gurkha Rifles, are organising a charity event in his memory.
