Molokai, Hawaii On The Great Destinations Radio Show

Aug 20, 2017, 01:25 PM

Keri Jones visits the remote Hawaiian island of Molokai. Islanders don't want mass-tourism but they're very welcoming of visitors who take their time to enjoy their home. There's no commercial tourism, no high rises, no Starbucks or McDonalds and there is just one hotel. Locals say that this is how the other Hawaiian Islands were, 50 years ago. Keri takes a sightseeing plane ride to view the world's highest sea cliffs. He also takes a guided tour to a unique access-restricted settlement in order to learn its tragic story.
