Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas Friday night, pounding the city of Houston with unprecedented rainfalls, and leaving more than 300,000 people without power. At least two fatalities have been reported, according to the Associated Press.

With flooding excepted to continue in parts of Texas over the next few days, according to the Weather Channel, thousands of people in the path of the storm will likely need help from the rest of the country.
