A record £1.4 billion spent on summer transfers - is the money splashed on football players getting out of control? #BBCNolan

If you're are a football fan you'll have been glued to the TV and internet yesterday. It was of course transfer deadline day! From today - teams are unable to buy or sell players until January, so yesterday saw a flurry of activity as clubs made last ditch moves-for-talent.

This summers dealings have been like no other - with hundreds of millions of pounds being spent. The biggest move has been that of Brazilian Neymar - who cost PSG £198 million. And Premier League clubs have spent a record £1.4BILLION, with £210million alone spent yesterday in a flurry of late deal, also a record.
