Gerry Adams has angered victims over his response to a call for information on an IRA murder. The Sinn Fein president said it would be "counter productive" for him to use his influence amongst republicans in a bid to solve the 1991 murder of Tom Oliver from County Louth. The Garda reopened an investigation into the case earlier this year. Speaking on the Michael Reade Show on LMFM Radio last week, Gerry Adams referred to the case of Brian Stack - a prison officer murdered by the IRA in 1983. He said felt it had been exploited by political opponents. Stephen spoke to Austin Stack - who's father Brian was murdered by the IRA, and got reaction from UUP MLA and former victims commissioner Mike Nesbitt and commentator Jude Collins.
