FIFA, football's world governing body, is set to lift its ban on the poppy following talks with the British home nations. A row erupted last year as FIFA fined England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland for their use of the poppy to commemorate Armistice day deeming it to be a political symbol. England and Scotland wore the emblem on black armbands during their match at Wembley. Wales and Northern Ireland fell foul of the laws by displaying it around their stadiums. Prime Minister Theresa May said at the time that FIFA's stance was "utterly outrageous" and here is what she said during prime minister's questions last November. Stephen got reaction from commentator Malachi O'Doherty and sports journalist Steven Beacom.
