How would you feel about being asked to pay to attend a wedding?

Most of us will feel privileged when we have been invited to a wedding. But how would you feel about being invited but being told that you have to pay to be there? A couple unable to afford their dream wedding have asked guests to contribute up to £150 each to attend, under a "business model" devised by the groom. The charge includes a three-night stay at a venue with spa and pool and an option of bringing your own drinks. So is it a good idea or would you take offence at being made to pay to attend?
