Sunken and damaged boats leak poisonous fluids like fuel, antifreeze and the contents of holding tanks. There’s also a great deal of jagged metal and torn fibreglass. It’s a deadly combination. This week, Carolyn Shearlock gives a timely warning for those involved in clean-up operations following hurricanes Irma and Maria.
