Yambio authorities crack down on minors in disco halls

Sixteen (16) youngsters, have been arrested and given five lashes of the cane, in a crackdown on minors who visit disco halls.
The teenage girls and boys were arrested by security forces as part of efforts to protect children from deviant behavior that endangers their lives and keeps them away from school.
Yambio town mayor Singira Robert, says the youngsters were apprehended by security operatives.
