Civil affairs division of the UN Mission in South Sudan has registered a major milestone - bringing leaders of the Murle together to discuss the prospects for peace in the greater Pibor area.

On Monday, the Murle leadership met again in Juba to discuss ways of reconciling Murle communities. The conference was organized by the Council of Churches with support from the UNMISS civil Affairs Division.

UNMISS civil affairs officer, Adewuyi Adewumi, facilitated the conference of Murle leaders in Kuron Peace village last week.

Robert Ohia Honorato, caught up with Adewuyi and asked him to explain the role UNMISS has played so far.
