Nate, a tropical storm which has already been blamed for at least 21 deaths in Central America, is on track to hit the U.S. Gulf Coast as Hurricane Nate over the weekend. Tropical Storm Nate turned into a Category 1 hurricane Friday night, according to the National Hurricane Center. The center of Hurricane Nate is now projected to move across the Gulf of Mexico Saturday and make landfall along the central U.S. Gulf Coast Saturday night, the Center said.
