kmfm's been told that more than 850 referrals were made to children's social care in Kent last year where sexual abuse was a factor. The news comes as Kent's Police and Crime Commissioner visits the NSPCC's centre in Gillingham, which he awarded £35000 last year to provide practical support for vulnerable children. Victims meet with a practitioner once a week for six months to take part in activities such as messy play, writing, storytelling and art.
