Social worker speaks out

Council bosses in charge of children's services in Worcestershire have failed to listen to staff, according to a whistleblower who's spoken exclusively to BBC H&W.

The comments come at a time when the department remains rated 'inadequate' by OFSTED. While a new report by the regulator published today will say there have been improvements, it also says much further progress is needed.
