Pibor floods aftermath poses humanitarian challenges

Flood waters in Pibor are receding but the problems they caused are taking on a new form, as attention turns to the humanitarian needs.

The filthy floodwaters, contaminated by dead livestock, and damaged crops are beginning to pose a health risk. In addition, families who have lost their properties are warning that the humanitarian needs could surge.
