IGAD-led Revitalization forum critical for peace in South Sudan

IGAD Foreign Ministers who have just concluded consultations in Juba say the revitalization process will begin in the next two months.

IGAD Special Envoy to South Sudan, Ambassador Ismail Wais revealed this on Tuesday while concluding their weeklong consultations with parties to the agreement and other stakeholders in Juba.

He said the IGAD Council of Ministers will meet in Addis Ababa in the next few days to reflect on the outcome of their exhaustive consultations.

Ambassador Wais said the Council will decide on when and where the revitalization meeting will be held.
