kmfm's been told former pubs, churches and even an undertakers have been converted into homes in Kent to reduce the number of people on housing waiting lists... No Use Empty is considered one of the most successful schemes like it in the country, with more than 500 homes being revamped each year for families to live in. Steve Grimshaw from the project says empty buildings can have a bad impact on communities.
