kmfm's been told an early diagnosis of breast cancer can improve our chances of beating the disease. October is breast cancer awareness month, and spotting changes early can help get a better outcome for people diagnosed. Addie Mitchell is a clinical nurse specialist at the charity Breast Cancer Care. She says we should see our doctors straight away if we notice any changes in how they feel or look. The condition can also effect men, but it is less common.
