Amnesty International Researcher discusses the issues at stake as Kenya heads for "rerun"

Amnesty International is appealing for restraint as Kenyans go to the polls, in an election rerun, that has largely been boycotted by the main opposition group, led by Raila Odinga.

Latest reports indicate that Police have clashed with opposition supporters, some of whom have been blocking access to polling stations.

Abdullahi Boru, East Africa Researcher at Amnesty International, spoke to Radio Miraya saying Human Rights watch groups like Amnesty International do not want to see a repeat of the violence that engulfed previous elections.
