Sightseeing for Blind People

Everyone can enjoy the outdoors, no matter their ability.

If you are blind or partially sighted, you will be pleased to know that there are routes and trails that have been designed with you in mind. These routes are easy to navigate, shorter in length and include features that make use of other senses.

One such group who are providing this service is the Lothian Blind Ramblers Group, who have worked with artist James Hutchison & leading sight loss charity RNIB, to create a new observors walk audio guide for Edinburgh's well known landmark Calton Hill.
