“We want peace, we want nothing short of peace!” - That was the stark message the youth in Pibor made when the Indian peacekeepers visited the state recently.

The newly appointed Commissioner of Pibor county, John Kaka, says the youths are well aware that with peace everything else is possible.

He made a passionate appeal to the UN mission in South Sudan to continue implementing its mandate to protect civilians and support peace efforts.

Kaka spoke to David Majur, highlighting some of the major snags standing in the way of peace in the greater Jonglei region.
