The Human Rights division of the UN Mission in South Sudan has launched a campaign at the protection of Civilians site in Juba, to draw the attention of the Internally displaced persons, to stand up in solidarity for each other’s rights.

Anthony Nwapa, a human rights officer working for the UN mission in South Sudan, told Radio Miraya's Sworo Charles that it is important for the IDPs to recognize one another as South Sudanese irrespective of their tribal differences.

“When there is respect for dignity, and the fundamental freedom of individual, people will feel ownership of this country,” said Nwapa.
