A new commemorative stone has been unveiled in memory of a soldier from Kent who was awarded the Victoria Cross 100 years ago. Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Borton was awarded the highest honour for his efforts in the forces - even after he was badly injured in an airplane accident, he continued to fight. The new stone has been put down at Hunton Primary School just outside of the Maidstone. Mayor Malcolm Greer led today's event.
