The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is rolling out a comprehensive HIV/AIDS response program among displaced communities.

The program gives IDPs access to counselling, testing, and treatment, benefiting some 171,000 people, as well as the host community in the Bentiu, Malakal and Wau Protection of Civilian or PoC sites.

IOM Media and Communications Officer, Ashley McLaughlin says since the roll out began in July, the organization has tested 213 people, with 16 testing positive and enrolling in antiretroviral treatment.

IOM through the support of its partners have trained over 450 peer counselors across the country

In this interview, Ashley explains more about the new program and other IOM activities.
