Ceasefire monitors say an upcoming Revitalization Forum on the peace agreement should come up with revised timelines on transitional security arrangements.
The monitors of the Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring Mechanism – CTSAMM, say they continue to record violations of the permanent ceasefire by both parties in various parts of the country.
In an exclusive interview on Radio Miraya, Ruth Feeney, CTSAMM Senior Communications Officer said changes should be made to Chapter 2 of the agreement regarding transitional security arrangements, to reflect the developments that have evolved since the peace deal was signed in 2015.
