Equity Markets in Bearish Mood - Clem Chambers

Clem Chambers, Founder and CEO of ADVFN joins Matt Brown on Core Finance to talk about the equity markets.  Markets are currently in a bearish mood which is similar to last year when Donald Trump was about to win the election.  Clem points out that the markets seem to be doing the same, and if they follow the same pattern will give a good run up to Christmas.

Clem also points out that reverse QE has caused the markets to go up over the long term. He also points out that there is meant to be another interest rate rise in America over the coming days.  On a medium term basis Clem is bullish with a two or three year end run for the current bull market.  Clem states he is bearish in the short term and bullish in the medium and long term, but may have a rough road to the new year.

Clem says that QE has been a success, explaining that QE works by feeding in through your property price with the money going into the system through property and asset price.
