LISTEN: Kent Search and Rescue's Stewart Baird - 26/11/17

For the first time, boats of volunteers will be patroling the river Medway in the run up to Christmas to try and reduce the number of people who fall in and drown. They'll be out in Rochester and Maidstone from 11pm until at 4am on Fridays and Saturdays in December. It follows a number of high profile deaths in recent years including 28 year-old Pat Lamb and teenager Ben Savage. Stuart Baird is from Kent Search and Rescue.
