#16daysofactivism: Jubek State makes progress in eliminating school related SGBV

As we commemorate the 16 day of activism campaign against gender-based violence, schools in Jubek state are making progress in eliminating school-related gender based violence.

This refers to acts or threats of sexual, physical, emotional or psychological violence against students, often in the form of corporal punishment, and unequal distribution of resources.

Daniel Swaka, the Director General of Jubek State Ministry of Education says regulations are in place and progress has been made in eradicating gender-based violence in schools.
