A Ghost of an Idea: unwrapping A Christmas Carol

Rarely seen original pencil sketches from the first edition of A Christmas Carol have gone on display at the Charles Dickens Museum in Bloomsbury.

The museum, which was Dickens' home in the 1830s, has launched an exhibition exploring the creation of one of his best-loved stories.
