Japan Injects $3mln boost for fall army worm eradication in South Sudan

Japan has announced funding of 3 million US dollars to support the fight against the fall armyworm in South Sudan.
The funding will be challenged through a joint project run by the Food and Agriculture Organization, the World Food Program and the National Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.
Dr Monday Ahonsi, FAO’s Plant protection specialist and technical lead for the fall army worm project in South Sudan, spoke with Sebit William and explained how this money will be utilized.
