Terekeka citizens appeal for reforms in the army for the success of the National Dialogue

The people of Terekeka State say reforms must be made in the security sector in order for the National Dialogue to succeed.

A member of the Central Equatoria sub-committee conducting consultations, Jackson Abugo said the populations fear the army and military forces have been personalized.

He said MPs, intellectuals, youth, women and the organized forces have all recommended the removal of guns from the hands of civilians.
