Do they know it's Christmas? Complaints about Xmas trees in Newry and Banbridge - are councils putting frugal above festive this year?

Less than 2 weeks now until Christmas hopefully you are all in the festive mood and are rockin' around your Christmas tree, but just how important is a Christmas tree to you town or city? Well it seems across Northern Ireland many have been left feeling under whelmed by their councils effort. Last month the tree in Banbridge was replaced after being branded one of the worst in Northern Ireland. The latest on the list is the tree in Newry with some calling for it to be removed as reported by the Belfast Telegraph.
