Season 1, Episode 11,   Dec 12, 2017, 01:33 PM

On this weeks episode of Culturation™ we speak with Thought Leader, Kristen Ingram. We discuss the importance of community, learning how to pivot, and the power of doing.

Kristen is currently the founder of PLUS ONE society, a curator of experiences that lead to thought-provoking moments that inspire change for the culture, community and people.

PLUS ONE services the Sports, Entertainment and Media industries through cause-based, experiential projects, campaigns and events.

Prior to launching PLUS ONE, Kristen was the Head of Affiliate Marketing for NFL Network where she oversaw affiliate marketing partnerships, creative campaigns and promotion for North America. In her role, Kristen created and developed innovative marketing strategies designed to drive viewer engagement and consumption through linear, digital and emerging platforms. Leveraging her expertise in building brands, strategic planning and client relations, in 2015, she was able to garner over $40M in media value through negotiated barters.

As a recognized community leader and award-winning marketer, Kristen is also an advocate for Diversity & Inclusion. In 2015, Ingram led a cross-departmental working group to launch the NFL DIVERSE TALENT COMMUNITY; an online recruitment platform that encourages quality, dynamic candidates with diverse backgrounds to join its ranks. Its goals are to engage, educate and support registered members, connect them with an NFL Community Manager and serve as a shared talent acquisition database for Human Resources across the NFL and its 32 clubs.

Ingram also led the NFL’s pro-social initiative, NFL PLAY 60 After-School Kickoff and was the Chair of NFL Community Teammates – Los Angeles and the Diversity Council Partnership & Recruitment Committee. Prior to joining NFL Network in 2012, Ingram served as a Marketing Manager at ESPN where she managed strategic partnerships with DISH, AT&T U-verse and DirecTV.

Outside of her commitments with the NFL, Ingram is passionate about community service and is actively involved with the Los Angeles Mission, LA Food Bank, Miriam’s House and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles. As a part of her community involvement and commitment to the core values of the NFL, Ingram launched an on-going organizational initiative that will ultimately provide thousands of personal hygiene kits to homeless and domestic violence shelters in New York and Los Angeles. In 2013, Ingram’s community service was recognized by the NFL with the 2013 Commissioner Award for Community Service.
