UNMISS and Partners support Children in PoC sites sit exams

Pupils sheltering at the Bentiu and Malakal Protection of Civilian sites have been given a chance to sit their primary leaving examinations through a combined effort of the UN Mission in South Sudan and humanitarian partners.

The children are writing the papers at centers outside the UN Protection of Civilian site designated by the National Ministry of education.

Sam Muhumure, Chief of the UNMISS Relief Reintegration and Protection section underscored the importance of giving all children an access to education.
