Mum bans her kids from watching TV – a breath of fresh air or simply too harsh?

Many parents will be guilty of setting their kids down in front of the TV or handing them a computer tablet in order to get some time to themselves? But - would you consider banning your children from all TV and technology? Well that is what one mother has done. Veronika Pena - has banned all TV and computers from her home meaning her 7 and 12 year old sons have never watched shows like The X Factor or even cartoons like Peppa Pig. She says that sitting still in front of a screen "seriously inhibits their mental and physical progress". What do you think at home, could you ban all technology from your house?
