LISTEN: SallyAnne Logan from Ashford Borough Council talks Chilmington Green - 14/12/17

It's hoped residents in Ashford could soon have a say on what leisure facilities they want included in a new large housing development in the town. Initial work on Chilmington Green is already underway, with nearly 6000 new homes planned to be built over twenty years. It's been recommended that councillors approve plans for a new Community Management Organisation to run facilities such as community centres, open spaces and sports pitches for the residents... SallyAnne Logan is the project manager. She hopes it will create a better sense of community.
